Panchvati

Panchvati is a spiritually significant location for travellers, located on the left bank of the sacred Godavari river. The name 'Panchavati' is derived from the Hindi terms 'panch' (five) and 'vati' (banyan tree). Lord Rama, Lord Lakshman, and Goddess Sita spent a few years of their 14-year exile at Panchvati, according to legend.

Given the mythology of Panchvati, the location has a great deal of religious significance even now. Every pilgrim's itinerary includes stops at the Kalaram Temple and the Sita Gufaa. The Kumbh Mela is held on the banks of the Godavari River and attracts people from all around the world.

Sula Vineyards

Sula Vineyards (or "Sula") is a winery and vineyard located 180 kilometres northeast of Mumbai in the Nashik area of western India. Rajeev Samant launched the company in 1999. Sula has risen to become India's most popular and award-winning wine brand. Sula is the leading participant in the Indian wine market, having introduced grape varieties such as Chenin blanc, Sauvignon blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel.

This venue is available to the general public for a round of wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard on any given day of the year, and it has grown in popularity over time. Sula Vineyards is home to sixty wineries and claims to be the country's first-ever winery. The Grape Stomping event, which takes place between January and March, is a special treat. The vineyard also features two restaurants that provide delectable cuisine, as well as a gift store and a bottle shop.

Dudhsagar waterfalls

Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located near Gangapur in Nashik's suburbs, is a stunning waterfall located 2 kilometres from Someshwar Temple and 9 kilometres from Nashik Central Bus Station. It is one of Maharashtra's most prominent waterfalls and one of the must-see attractions included in Nashik's holiday plans.

Dudhsagar Waterfalls, is one of Nashik's most popular tourist destinations. This modest yet lovely waterfall is generated by the holy Godavari River. The waterfall is 10 metres high, and the area becomes really gorgeous during the monsoon since there is a lot more greenery around and there is a lot more water flow. It is a popular picnic location for families and a favourite destination for youngsters looking to enjoy a relaxing evening. A must-see is the Balaji Temple, which is located near the waterfall.

Trimbakeshwar

The Trimbakeshwar Temple is one of India's twelve Jyotirlingas. This Shiva temple is located at Trimbak, 28 kilometres from Nashik city, at the foot of the Brahmagiri Hills. The temple was built in the 18th century by the Maratha monarch Peshwa Nana Saheb and is referenced in the powerful Mrityunjaya Mantra, which bestows immortality and longevity.

The Jyotirlinga here is notable for its three faces, which represent Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Rudra. The linga has begun to disintegrate as a result of excessive water consumption. This erosion is thought to represent the decaying character of human society. The Lingas are protected by a jewelled crown, which is placed over Tridev's Gold Mask (Brahma Vishnu Mahesh). The crown, made of diamonds, emeralds, and other valuable stones, is supposed to date from the Pandav period. The crown is displayed every Monday from 4-5 pm.

City market delight

Nasik is known for its shopping streets, which are a jackpot for shopaholics. Handicrafts, silver items, souvenirs, old copper relics, and brass statues are among the products available. Chivda grapes and wine are very well-known in this wine city. The city is surrounded by restaurants, eateries, and other places where one may sit and enjoy the delights. Every three years, the city hosts the Kumbh Mela, which attracts thousands of visitors from all across the country.

The city's signature food is Nasik Chivada. Despite the fact that Nasik is barely 15-20 kilometres in size, it provides excellent shopping opportunities for visitors.

Anjaneri Hills

Anjaneri, one of the forts in the Nasik-Trimbakeshwar mountain range, is said to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman and is a must-see for devotees. According to mythology, the fort was built before the 12th century by the Ahir dynasty.

Trimbak Road connects Anjaneri to Nasik, which is 20 kilometres distant. It has been a popular trekking destination for Nashik residents, especially during the rainy season. The fort is located at a height of almost 4000 feet. There are numerous ruins of Jain temples, caves, and a lake on the hills. You may also enjoy the beauty of a seasonal waterfall here during the monsoon.

Jain Temple

Jain Temple also is known as Sri Dharmachakra Prabhav Teerth. One of the beautiful Jain Temple is situated near Nashik. The Jain temple was established under the divine inspiration of Acharya Sri Jag Vallabh Surishwaraji Maharaj Saheb.

This is completely new and contemporary outlook architecture, unlike the other Jain Temples. This is a three-story structure made of pink sandstone and marble. The primary deity at the temple is a statue of Shri Mantradhiraj Parshwanath Bhagwan. On the ground level of the temple, there is a Pravachan Hall where meditations and homilies are held. Choumukhji is on the first level, while Ashtapadji is on the third. The temple also houses Jain saints' idols, the most notable of which is the idol of the 24th Jain Tirthankar, which is fashioned of Panchdhatu and weighs around 12 tonnes. The temple is a replica of Sri Shatrunjay Tirth and Sri Sametshikaji Tirth.
